Veronique Price ARAD

OWNER, FOUNDER AND TEACHER

Dancing for Wellbeing™ was founded by Veronique Price, an experienced ballet dancer. She began her ballet training at the age of three and had attained the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) Certificate for Advanced Examinations. Shortly after, she became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dancing (ARAD).

Veronique has performed in Pas de Quatre, Gamzatti Solo (la Bayadère), Dance of the Princesses (Swan Lake) and other original works with various choreographers locally and overseas.

In 2017, her interest in dance for special population led her to volunteer at Dance for PD® — an internationally-acclaimed dance program from Brooklyn, New York — created for people with Parkinson’s disease. She underwent teacher’s training in Sydney and now teaches some of the Dance for PD classes in Rozelle and Randwick.

Her approach to teaching seniors ballet class is making sure that each student progresses at their own pace whilst learning the proper technique. She creates an encouraging and supporting environment and encourages seniors to “give ballet a go”.
